Ani Dolma Chozom

Ani Dolma Chozom wants to become a teacher. She is from the village of Yolmo, Nepal, north of Kathmandu near the Tibetan border, where Tek Chok Ling was located until 2006. She was raised by her grandparents, who also have a house in Kathmandu. Her grandfather is now in retreat. She has been at Tek Chok Ling since she was eight years old, and her list of what she likes about living there is long: Rinpoche, studying and learning, the ani’s, her friends, and those popular nunnery dogs. She is studying math, English, art, singing, and dancing, and hopes to become a teacher.
