Deep and Subtle Methods

Once we understand well the view of the Mantrayana, and especially that of Mahamudra, we will be able to meditate in connection with any form of conduct and any mental poison that arises.

When the mental poisons are extremely coarse, we should purify our mental poisons by means of the mental poisons themselves. This is the principle of Mantrayana practice.

We have to purify desire on the basis of our desire, anger on the basis of our anger, and so on. The term "secret Mantrayana" is used since it contains these deep and subtle methods of purification.
