Do not be attached to the object of your
desire - look at the mind of attachment.

Attachment is self-arisen and
        self-liberated, bliss-emptiness by nature,
Bliss-emptiness is nothing other than
        discriminating wisdom -
Within desire self-liberated, recite the
        six-syllable mantra.
                               (Paltrul Rinpoche)

Do not be attached to the object of your desire - do not cling to the person who is the object of your desire as being truly existent. Instead, look back at the mind that desires that person. Look at the mind of attachment. When you realize desire's essential nature, the desire is self-arisen and self-liberated, and you recognize it to be bliss-emptiness by nature.

This bliss-emptiness is nothing other than discriminating wisdom. Both the Vajrayana and the Mahayana teach that desire's true nature is bliss-emptiness, and that this is nothing other than discriminating wisdom. When desire arises and you rest in its true nature, bliss-emptiness, your sense-consciousnesses perceive their objects very clearly - that is the quality of discriminating wisdom. Thus, discriminating wisdom, desire's essential nature, and bliss-emptiness are undifferentiable. Resting within the certainty that desire is self-liberated, meditate on the Great Compassionate One, Chenrezik, and recite the six-syllable mantra.
