Ani Choying Tshokey studied up to class five in the Samdrub Choling Pry school. She has six siblings. She decided to become a nun because her family with so many children had financial problems. She felt that if she left it would make life easier for her siblings and her parents. She would like to study in the shedra and she would like to be a nun doctor, called “Menpa” in future.
