Ani Karma Choney Zangmo came to the nunnery in 2011. She studied in the Bhutanese public school through Grade 2 and speaks Dzongkha. She is very respectful to her elders and likes to study. Her mother died when she was quite young leaving her and 4 siblings. One older sister died, one sister went to live and work in a household and her youngest sister went to live with her Grandma. Her father brought Ani Karma Choney Zangmo to the nunnery hoping for a better life for her.
