Ani Dechen Dolma (Great Bliss Tara) left Tibet in 2011, where she had already become a nun. She grew up tending cattle in Dingri, along with four brothers and two sisters. Her father died and she was never able to go to school. She decided to become a nun, and set out to meet the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, which she accomplished. Following her relatives’ advice, she came to Tek Chok Ling, where she likes meeting many lamas and receiving more teachings. She is not sure what the future will bring, but Ani Dechen Dolma wants to continue to study Tibetan.
