I am Dechen Sangmo, from Zuling village of Nepal. I was born in 2011. Our family consists of eight members, including myself. In my leisure time, I find great pleasure in reading. I decided to become a nun in 2019 and subsequently joined the Shree Mangal Dvip School in 2023. Prior to enrolling in Shree Mangal Dvip School, I attended a school in my village, where I acquired literacy skills in the Nepali language. In Zuling, I often assumed the responsibilities of looking after the cattle and taking care of my younger brother when my mother was occupied. My father brought me to Tek Chok Ling Nunnery with the belief that it would provide me with a better life and ample opportunities for education. I am immensely grateful and filled with joy to be a part of this nunnery.
