Ani Gaylek Drolma joined the nunnery in December 2013. Before coming to the nunnery, she studied up to the sixth grade standard in the government school. She has three siblings. Her father died when she was very small and she does not remember much about him. Her mother and sister raised her. She came to the nunnery to practice and study in order to benefit all beings especially her late father. She would like to be a Nyerpa in the future in order to serve the nunnery. Her cousin’s sister, Ani Jangchug Choden helped her to become a nun.
