Ani Karma Phuntsho Wangmo

My name is Karma Phuntsho Wangmo. After completing 7th grade in one of the Bhutanese public schools I came to the nunnery in 2011. I did my one year retreat and joined the monastic college in 2019. Unfortunately, due to health reasons I couldn’t continue my studies. Therefore, I came back to the nunnery. In 2023, I had the fortune to receive Rinchen Terdzod initiations in Sikkim, India from H.E. Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpohe. I also received Kagyur transmission (reading transmission) from him in 2024. I love reading books and meditating. I would love to go into retreat some day and continue my practices.
