My name is Karma Sherab Yangzom and I joined the nunnery in 2010. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to go to a formal school, I am happy that I am able to study here in nunnery. I went into retreat for a year and now I am staying in the nunnery and practicing as much as I could. Recently, I have been diagnosed with stomach cancer, because of which I have to visit hospital regularly. I am not sure how long my treatment will take, but I hope to go back into retreat some day.
