Ani Mingyur Sangmo says she doesn’t “know why I am always happy, but I am!” She became a nun at Tek Chok Ling and likes it very much. Her family was nomadic and she herded yaks, as well as did some fieldwork. Her mother, who died two years ago gave permission for Ani Mingyur Sangmo to choose her own life as a nun. She is from Nangchen in Tibet, like Khenpo Rinpoche, and met him through a mutual relative. She left Tibet in 2005 and loves living in the city. She likes the challenge of learning pujas and studying Tibetan.

Know this life to be like a dream.
See the mind’s unborn nature.
Aspire to be of benefit to others.

– Khenchen Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche
