Ani Sherab Lhamo

I am Sherab Lhamo from Tsum valley which lies in Gorkha district of Nepal. I was born in Phurpe village in 2013. I study in kinder garden. I used to go to school in my village but there were no subjects like Math and Tibetan like we have in nunnery. I have four siblings. I have my father, mother, two elder sisters and one elder brother in my family. And we have another member in our family. He is my little brother. My mom just gave a birth to my little brother. He is so sweet. Including me there are total seven of us. One of my elder sisters is with me in my nunnery, her name is Rangdrol Lhamo. She studies in grade four. My other sister is in India. She is studying in grade six. Rangdrol helps me in my study and she is very kind to me. Me and my sister became a nun last year (2021). I was very excited to become a nun. Now, I have many friends in my nunnery and my best friend is Sonam Tsomo. We are from the same district and she studies in grade 3. She helps me in my study and she tells me a lot of things about her village. I am bad at drawing so, Sonam helps me with that. Comparing to before I have improved my drawing a bit. I could read the morning prayer very good. I can also write my name in Tibetan, English and Nepali. In my free time I love to plant small plants with my friends in our garden. In holidays we play games like hide and seek, seven stones, volleyball, and soccer. Among them my favorite game is hide and seek because it is very fun to hide. I love my nunnery and Rinpoche. I like food in my nunnery, it is so delicious.
