Ani Sonam Chozom is from Yolmo, Nepal. Her parents are farmers and she has two younger sisters. After the earthquake with her family falling on hard times her parents decided it would be best for her if she lived at Tek Chok Ling Nunnery. Here she joins her cousin/sister Ani Tsultrim Dolma who also lives and studies at Tek Chok Ling. She joined the nunnery at the end of 2017. She is happy playing and studying in the nunnery with her many friends.
