Ani Sonam Drolma

My name is Sonam Drolma. I am from the Southern part of Bhutan and came to the nunnery in 2011. Although I was already a nun in one of the nunneries in southern Bhutan, the hot weather made it hard for me to study there. So I decided to join Karma Drubdey nunnery where the weather is much better. I have five siblings back at home. Although, I didn’t go to a formal school, I joined the shedra (monastic college.) in 2016. I am happy to have the opportunity to study here. I hope to go into retreat in future.
