Ani Samdrup Jongkhar has wanted to be a nun from a very early age. Finally at fourteen, she has been allowed to join the nunnery. She has studied up through class seven at Bhutan’s public school. She has two elder sisters, four elder brothers and one younger brother. She likes listening to teachings and she plans to be a nun for the rest of her life.
