I studied in the Bhutanese public school through grade 10 and joined the nunnery in 1998 and taught the younger nuns. I went into retreat for 2 years and went to Dharamsala, in northern India to pursue my further studies. After the completion of a 13-year course in Buddhist philosophy, I came back to Bhutan in 2022 and ever since have been teaching in the monastic collage (Shedra) in the nunnery.
