Ani Jangchuk Choden

My name is Jangchuk Choden and I became a nun in 1999. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to go to a formal school before, I am happy that I am able to study here in the nunnery. I went into retreat for 2 years and later served as a caretaker for the environment in my nunnery for few years. I also served in the retreat center as a caretaker for a year. In 2024, I had the fortune of receiving the Kagyur reading transmission from H.E. Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche in Nepal. I love meditating, so I hope to do a 3-year retreat in future.
