Throw It All Away

The most profound method for dealing with suffering is to look directly at the nature of suffering with the eye of prajna. Suffering is thought, and the most profound way to work with thought is to look at it directly in the way that is taught in mahamudra. This is because luminosity-emptiness is the abiding nature of that thought...
However, it will not be possible to pacify suffering immediately. One has to look again and again; gradually over time it will be pacified.
The advice is to look nakedly, to rest without any fabrication, to loosen loosely, and then to throw it all away.
The last piece of advice, "throw it all away," is how to work with the fear that it will get even worse.
